Destiny: The Taken King GOOD BYE LUCK !

Destiny will change to leveling experience all the way up to level 40! Destiny has a second life for me again. What I hate about Destiny right now is light, luck and mindless grind! GOODBYE in Sept! We all paid to beta test Destiny. Bungie and Activision are laughing all the way to the bank!

Quotes from gameinformer

“Our recent visit to Bungie provided us with hours of hands-on impressions detailed in this month’s magazine cover story, and one of the major changes we learned about is a new approach to leveling. Players earn XP by killing monsters, completing missions, and turning in bounties, as has always been the case, but that experience now feeds directly into your level progression all the way from 1 to the new level cap of 40.

Meanwhile, weapons and armor continue to provide increased power to your character, with new gear unlocking for use as you level up. “The conflation of gear and character level led to this place where your identity was determined by things outside of your control,” says creative director Luke Smith. “We don’t want to do that.”

We were also told that Destiny’s loot system will now pay closer attention to the loot you have already received when determining an appropriate drop, so that players will more consistently receive armor and weapons that provide meaningful power growth, items that vary their gear slot from one drop to the next, and fewer drops of items that a player has already attained.

Our Take
The original release of Destiny had an unusual progression system. Leveling followed a traditional RPG structure for levels 1-20, but switched over to gear as the main path to advancement for subsequent levels. Not only did the system lead to some confusion, but it also left many players stuck at a given level for too long as they waited for the loot drop they needed to progress. The new system should be friendlier to new players, but should also benefit veteran guardians who are eager to see their extensive play time met with commensurate progression and rewards. In my hands-on time, my existing level 34 guardians transitioned seamlessly into the new system, and leveling during subsequent story missions was smooth and engaging.”

Walkthrough: The New Xbox One Experience !

I want it F&%KING NOW !!!! This is the rebirth of Xbox One !

Gaming will get even better on Xbox One with a completely redesigned user experience launching globally this fall. We’re making some big changes to make it faster to get to your content and complete must-have tasks on Xbox One. And, Xbox One will also become more intelligent with the help of Cortana.

We continue to be inspired by fan feedback to deliver requested features and new innovation to Xbox One. To-date, we’ve released more than 130 new features on Xbox One since launch and our update coming this fall will be our biggest one yet. It’s a major milestone to mark the continued evolution of Xbox One. We’re committed to putting our fans and gamers at the center of everything we do and are continuing to push the boundaries of innovation.

We’ve talked a lot about Windows 10 this year and our plans to bring a consistent gaming experience across devices by extending Xbox Live to every screen. When the new user experience launches on Xbox One through a simple and free system update, Xbox One will take some of the best parts of Windows 10 and optimize them for gaming. Windows 10 will enable faster and more intelligent experiences on Xbox One. You will be able to get into multiplayer sessions and Parties faster, your most-used content will be more readily available, gaming experiences tailored to your favorite titles will be more easily discoverable. And, Cortana will become your personal gaming assistant.

The most notable changes you can expect to see include:

A redesigned Home: We’ve redesigned Home to surface your most-used Xbox content. You can scroll vertically to see your recently played games with deeper information about the content and games you are using. You can see game DVR clips, achievements and add-ons for your games and can also quickly discover new content.

A new guide: Gaming must-haves like friends, party invites and messages can be accessed directly from Home or while in a game. Scroll left from Home or double-tap the Xbox button while in a game and the guide will slide over on the left side of the screen. From here you can access gaming must-haves like your friends list, party invites, messages, and notifications.

Community section: We’ve expanded upon the current Friends section so gamers can more quickly and easily access all their social activities. This includes the Activity Feed to see the latest updates from friends and game developers as well as What’s Trending on Xbox Live to interact with the most popular games and content currently on Xbox Live. Scroll right from Home to see what games your friends have been playing, interact with their posts and see the top things happening on Xbox Live right now.

Xbox Avatars: We saw the passion from the community toward Xbox Avatars and are excited to bring them back in a more prominent way on Xbox One. We are modernizing the look of avatars with better image quality, keeping all the familiar customizations fans loved on Xbox 360.

Cortana comes to Xbox One: On Xbox One, Cortana becomes your personal gaming assistant. Cortana helps you elevate your game, gets smarter over time, and works across all your Windows 10 PCs, tablets and phones (Cortana will also soon be available on iPhone and Android phones). Through voice commands on Xbox One, Cortana will assist you to more quickly find great games, new challengers and friends on Xbox Live, or accomplish common tasks. Cortana can also help you get achievements by surfacing videos and information to help you succeed. Working across Windows 10 PCs, tablets, phones, Xbox One, and iPhone and Android phones, Cortana can assist you wherever are you are – like setting an important reminder from your phone to receive on your Xbox One when you log on at home. Cortana will launch first in the U.S. and the U.K. on Xbox One this fall.

We’re excited to bring the New Xbox One Experience to our fans – a complete redesign of the user experience. This will be a big milestone in the evolution of Xbox One and a significant update inspired by fan feedback. Keep your feedback coming! We love to hear it.

Backward Compatibility Comes to Xbox One, for Free

This holiday, Xbox One will be the only console to support backward compatibility natively for select Xbox 360 games, for free, and all with Xbox One features including screenshots, broadcasting and GameDVR. Backward compatibility is one of the most-requested fan features, and more than 100 classic Xbox 360 games will be available at launch, with more to come.

While not all Xbox 360 titles will be available at launch, fans can submit what titles they’d like to see added via Xbox Feedback, and Xbox will work with game publishers to continue to release new titles regularly.
The World’s Premier Gaming Community, Xbox Live, Is Getting Better
Xbox Live powers the most ambitious Halo game Xbox has ever made in “Halo 5: Guardians.” The game is designed from the ground up as a four-player cooperative experience, and introduces up to 24-person multiplayer with Warzone. This is a giant leap forward for Halo multiplayer, and it will be playable at E3.

Xbox Live will also give players access to more of their friends and a larger community of gamers through titles like “Fable Legends” and “Gigantic” that support cross-device multiplayer and that sync a player’s progress automatically as they move from one device to another.
Earlier this year Microsoft announced that the best of Xbox One is coming to Windows. The new Xbox app brings Xbox Live friends to Windows 10 PCs and tablets, and lets players stream their Xbox One games to any Windows 10 device for free.
Advanced Technology Takes Gaming Further on Xbox One, and Beyond

In close collaboration with professional gamers, Microsoft created the Xbox Elite Controller — a pro controller designed to take gaming to the next level.
Players can customize everything from trigger sensitivity to button mapping to game-specific setups, and use it with their Xbox One and Windows 10 devices with a custom app that offers gamers the opportunity to further modify the controller for any gaming scenario.

The controller features a premium design that guarantees long-lasting quality with stainless steel features that are built to withstand hours of intense gameplay.
also reiterated details from a new partnership with Oculus VR LLC to include an Xbox One Wireless controller with every Oculus Rift at launch, supporting virtual reality on Windows 10 and Xbox One. Xbox One fans will be able to experience even more immersive gaming by streaming their favorite titles to Oculus Rift via Windows 10.

Microsoft is proud to announce a new relationship with Valve VR. We will be working closely with Valve to make Windows 10 the best platform for VR gaming.

Microsoft HoloLens introduces all new ways to game with mixed reality, including “Minecraft” on HoloLens, a fully-featured version of “Minecraft” that allows players to explore the game world in full 3-D.

Microsoft’s ID@Xbox Showcases the Depth of Independent Gaming for Xbox
More than 1,000 independent developers have Xbox One development kits via ID@Xbox. With the recent expansion of ID@Xbox to Windows 10, independent game fans can look forward to even more exciting games coming soon.
With the announcement of the Xbox Game Preview pilot program, fans can start playing select games such as “DayZ,” “Sheltered,” and “The Long Dark” while they’re still in development, offering suggestions to the development team and becoming part of the creative process.
Fans Can Access and Explore these Exciting Features Today

Triumph unveils bespoke ‘Venom’ custom bike based on KONAMI’s METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN!

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. has announced a special creative partnership with Triumph, which has seen the motorcycle specialists produce a stunning bespoke ‘Venom’ bike thematically linked to KONAMI’s forthcoming METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN title.
METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN is scheduled to be release on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®3, Xbox 360™, and Xbox One™ on September 1st. To celebrate the game’s launch – and continuing a relationship that has seen Triumph bikes featured in METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER, METAL GEAR SOLID 4: GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS and METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER – Triumph’s bespoke VTB:1/Venom unit reflects the hard-edged and stripped-back edge of the broken but unbowed hero that returns for the new game.

The ‘Venom’ bike is inspired by the legendary Triumph Bonneville T100 ridden by Snake in METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN, and is a custom build, created by the Triumph team. Their brief was to bring to life Snake’s stripped back edge via unique styling and detailing, including game-inspired graphics and the renowned Diamond Dogs logo. The resulting ‘Venom’ is a mission-ready bike tailored to the wilds of Afghanistan and Africa.

METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN’s Diamond Dogs pack leader has little need for civil niceties, so mirrors, speedometer, and rev counter were quickly stripped off with function defining form. From there on in, this stock T100 Bonneville has evolved to become the ultimate hot rod.

Off-road duties are handled with ease thanks to custom rims fitted with dirt-focused rubber in the form of Continental TKC80 tyres. The stock saddle has been cut down and refinished in Sneaking Suit neoprene and carbon Kevlar leather inspired by Snake’s iconic combat wear. A heavy duty ammo rack loops around the back of the saddle, offering both protection and somewhere secure to bolt down an extra case or two of .50 cal.

A yellowed-out JVB Rumbler headlight and external heavy-duty fork springs give an aggressive dimension to the front end, while the profile is exaggerated by the lack of front mudguard. At the rear, the cut-down rear guard and an exclamation mark-shaped tail-light add to the individuality of the machine. Colour-matched callipers and cam cover are additional stand-out details, whilst the custom slash-cut exhausts deliver a soundtrack that lives up to the looks. Details such as Triumph Tiger off-road foot pegs, Renthal performance sprocket, machined throttle body caps and Triumph sport levers all contribute to making this bike as unique as it’s rider. Finally a hard-wearing stencilled matte black Diamond Dogs livery clearly links bike and owner – creating a Bonneville fit for Snake.

Xbox One April System Update: Voice Messages, Party Chat Updates and More Now in Preview !

By Major Nelson posted March 26, 2015 at 6:00 PM

Thanks to suggestions from our fans, we continue to focus on finding great ways to bring the Xbox community closer together. Over the past few months, we’ve introduced several features to make it easier to connect to friends and meet new people.

You may have noticed a few new features that rolled out to preview over the weekend, including game hub links and more detailed achievement notifications. Now this week, we’re bringing even more features to Xbox One in preview, making it easier to keep in touch with friends on Xbox One or Xbox 360.

Check out the list below for features in the April preview update that are starting to roll out tonight:

Voice messages – New this month is the No. 1 feature requested in the Friends and Parties area on the Xbox Feedback site > “Add audio message …” Xbox One preview program members will be able to compose and playback voice messages in the messages app when snapped on Xbox One. Quickly and easily record audio to send to your friends or others through your snapped messages app accessed through a simple quick double tap of the Xbox button. Additionally, voice messages can be exchanged between Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles.

Well, this will be the best party chat for consoles! PSN blows..lol Dedicated Servers you gotta love that!

Dedicated servers for party chat – We are committed to continuing to make improvements to party chat, designed to improve quality, reliability, and ease of use. We’re enhancing party chat with dedicated chat relay servers. This new service will enable Xbox One owners that may have historically had NAT issues to party chat more reliably. Parties where players are unable to form direct peer-to-peer connections for party chat will automatically leverage dedicated server infrastructure to relay traffic.
Currently, this service is only enabled for parties where one or more members are enrolled in the Xbox One Preview program. Those preview consoles enable the service for their party chat sessions, even if some of the party participants are not part of the preview program.

What’s On – The Xbox engineering team is continuing to experiment with the What’s On area, which highlights popular games, movies, TV shows, game broadcasts and clips. What’s On has been available for preview members in the U.S. and this month, the preview of this feature is being expanded to Canada and the UK as well. Additionally, the “Staff Picks” are now more personalized based on your recent game activity, and we’re introducing new experiments with Twitter Trending TV, and Game Clips for subsets of the preview audience.

Keep sending us your feedback and we’ll keep working on bringing you the latest and greatest features on Xbox One.
