Fixed an issue where DPS would not be calculated properly when purchasing a new weapon mod
Dark Zone
Players can now heal other neutral players in the Dark zone, by using First Aid and Support Station skills
Players are now able to fast travel to Dark Zone checkpoints, but only when coming from outside the Dark Zone
The Dark Zone disconnect timer has been increased to 30 seconds, meaning players will remain in the game world longer when logging out while in the Dark Zone (this applies while not in combat)
Items extracted from the Dark Zone are now properly marked as “new” items when moved to the players inventory
Players killed in the Dark Zone now drop ammo, medkits and grenades. This loot is generated and not taken from the dying players’ inventory

I’m so over pumped up for release of this game! #TheDivision

FREE UPDATES TO START FROM NEXT MONTH WITH NEW FEATURES AND CHALLENGES, PAID EXPANSIONS TO FOLLOW FROM SUMMER TO WINTER

Ubisoft revealed the post-release plans for Tom Clancy’s the Division. This evolving online open world RPG will keep players engaged with on-going content that will build on the experience within the game long after release.

Teams will be able to test their skills as they face seemingly unstoppable enemies to gain high-level weapons and equipment. This update will also add one of the community’s most-wanted feature, loot trading; allowing players in the same group to trade loot collected during a co-op game session.

· Conflict: In May, the second free update will add new features to the Dark Zone and add a new incursion in the iconic Columbus Circle.

Three paid expansions will also be released over the course of the year and be will available in the Season Pass, the Gold Edition and the Sleeper Agent/Collector’s edition of the game. Each expansion builds on The Division, continuing the player’s journey and progress with new content, gear and gameplay:

Expansion I: Underground

Expansion II: Survival
Available this summer, this expansion will challenge players to survive as long as possible by gathering essential supplies in a very hostile environment.

Expansion III: Last Stand
Next winter, a new threat rises as players and their squad must prepare to defend against a relentless foe.

UBISOFT REANIMATES ZOMBI FOR PLAYSTATION 4, XBOX ONE AND WINDOWS PC !

LONDON, UK — July 30, 2015 — Today, Ubisoft® announced the development of ZOMBI, an upgrade of the acclaimed survival-horror game, coming as a digital download for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC on August 18, 2015.

After being one of the Wii U™ flagship titles in 2012, ZOMBI returns to challenge gamers on multiple new platforms to find out how long they can survive in dilapidated, infected London. For the second time in history, a great plague has shrouded the city in a fog of death. Thousands have died, or worse, been infected by a sickness more gruesome than death. Once again, this fear-fueled first-person shooter invites all players to dive into the horror, chaos and tension found in the best of the genre. The nail-biting survival experience has been optimized for PlayStation®4 system, Xbox One and Windows PC, using the power of the latest generation of hardware to bring gamers to a new level of horror.

Players will experience the original oppressive and intense elements that made ZombiU so innovative. The bug-out bag is a necessary component for survival for each player as it contains all the player’s tools, inventory, first aid kits, maps and more. With permadeath, players are faced with a death mechanic which puts them in the body of a different survivor each time they die. In order to retain the equipment they previously gathered in their bug-out bag, they are forced to track down their old, infected character. Should players risk it all to get their bag back or start scavenging anew?

For more information on ZOMBI, please visit: http://www.zombigame.com

UBISOFT HEADING TO E3 2015 WITH A HOST OF FAN-FAVOURITES AND A FEW BIG SURPRISES !

London, UK — June 2, 2015 — Today, Ubisoft confirmed it is showcasing new content from three of its highly-anticipated titles and announcing several exciting new games at the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Kicking off the week on Monday June 15 with the Ubisoft E3 2015 Conference, Ubisoft will share its lineup at the Ubisoft booth from June 16 – 18 and extend the invitation to fans at the Uplay Lounge.

“ E3 is always a very special moment for the entire gaming community because we all come together to share our visions for the future of entertainment and reveal the games into which we’ve been pouring our energy and passion. The players’ excitement and feedback when they first experience what we’re developing is what motivates us the most,” said Yves Guillemot, co-founder and CEO, Ubisoft. “We love being a part of this great community, and our talented teams continue to take risks, push boundaries and offer more freedom and choice within our games so that we can create long-lasting, enriching experiences for the players.”

Back by popular demand, actress and comedian Aisha Tyler is hosting Ubisoft’s E3 2015 Conference. The conference takes place at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Monday June 15 at 2:45 p.m. (PDT). The conference will be broadcast live and on-demand via YouTube, on Ubisoft’s Twitch channel and on Uplay. All Ubisoft’s videos and trailers from E3 will be available on Ubisoft’s YouTube channel during the event with embeddable links. Fans can head to http://www.ubisoft.com which will act as a hub before, during and after the event for all the latest news and content.

E3 attendees can visit Ubisoft’s booth – #1023 – situated in the South Hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center to further explore Ubisoft’s full E3 lineup, including hands-on demos of the following games:

· Assassin’s Creed® Syndicate: Set in London during the height of the Industrial Revolution, players will step into the shoes of twin Master Assassins, Jacob and Evie Frye. Fighting to liberate London, Jacob and Evie help define the birth of organised crime in an adventure filled with action, intrigue and brutal combat.
· Tom Clancy’s The Division™: In this immersive online open-world action RPG, players will team up with other Division agents to reclaim New York City from the chaos of a deadly pandemic.
· Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege: Inspired by the reality of counter terrorist operatives across the world, Rainbow Six Siege invites players to master the art of destruction. Intense close quarter confrontations, high lethality, tactics, team play, and tension are at the center of the experience.

Special guests will be in attendance, and a jam-packed program of performances is scheduled on the booth throughout the week.

For the third year running, the Uplay Lounge offers fans the chance to see and play the new games in Ubisoft’s E3 lineup, meet the developers, compete with other gamers and more. Throughout the week, Ubisoft is organizing a series of Master Classes for fans, during which a number of newly announced games will be demonstrated live by the production teams. These Master Classes, which will include sessions on Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and Tom Clancy’s The Division, will be streamed live on Twitch. In addition, Ubisoft has identified a group of fans who represent the passion and diversity of its gaming communities. These “Star Players” have been invited to E3 by Ubisoft and will receive full VIP treatment at the show. The Uplay Lounge will be open in the afternoons of Tuesday June 16 and Wednesday June 17, and will be located at the SkySpace, on the 71st floor of the Bank Tower in Downtown LA. In addition, the UbiBlog will be hosting a slew of features and previews on Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Rainbow Six Siege, The Division and all unannounced titles.

WATCH_DOGS – Review XBOX ONE !

My friends over at XBOXADDICT reviewed Watch_Dogs !

Thursday, May 29, 2014.
by Adam Dileva

Watch Dogs Box artWhen Ubisoft announced Watch_Dogs for the first time back in 2012, it instantly caught the eye of many people, myself included, for its gorgeous visuals and intriguing gameplay based around hacking. Then just shortly before launch it got delayed six months to the disappointment of many, but here we are those six months later and Watch_Dogs finally exists for all of us to play. Ubisoft wanted us to believe that Watch_Dogs was going to change everything. So does it? Kind of…

Watch_Dogs at its core is an open world action game, and essentially plays as if it’s one part Grand Theft Auto and one part Assassin’s Creed. The backdrop is Chicago, though drastically different from the one we know today in the real world. Chicago in the world of Watch_Dogs is hyper-connected with a new infrastructure network called ctOS. This allows everything from all technology, communication, traffic, security systems, and more to be accessed easily, even in unintended ways.

The ctOS system really shows how interconnected everything and everyone is when there’s only one infrastructure in place. I’m not sure whoever thought putting a whole city behind one accessible wall would be a good idea, but luckily it works out for the hero of Watch_Dogs, Aiden Pearce. If you watch the TV show Person of Interest, you’ll have an idea of what ctOS is capable of in the wrong hands. Sure ctOS may boast a better city for the average person, but in the wrong hands, the city can literally be used as a weapon.

Aiden Pearce is a talented hacker who is haunted by a past family tragedy. Naturally he blames himself and seeks revenge for what happened, and does so with his hacking abilities and using ctOS in ways that don’t seem all that unbelievable in today’s world. Aiden has taken a step back, away from his family, yet he still watches over them almost obsessively, even when they just want him to let it go and move on. That’s not good enough for Aiden, as he needs justice to move on, and will find the justice he seeks by taking matters into his own hands. Most people think of superheroes as someone from a comic book, but Aiden instead is just a normal guy with extraordinary hacking abilities that I would best describe as a blend of Max Payne and Batman. I can see Aiden’s personality not being pleasing for everyone, but I quite enjoyed seeing him slowly deal with his internal anger and extracting revenge in the way he only knows how.

Aiden not only knows how to hack seemingly almost anything, he can also defend himself up and close with his baton, or if need be, in a shootout with almost any firearm. Aiden will eventually gain access to quite a number of different traditional weapons, ranging from all your standard pistols, shotguns, rifles, snipers, and more. In most cases you can choose how you want to play; the stealthier type, the all-out action shooter, or a blend of both.

The core leadership team will be led by industry veterans with combined experience from Epic Games, Insomniac Games, Ubisoft, EA, CDV Software and Westwood Studios.

Durham, NC – October 28 Relevant Games is proud to introduce themselves to the gaming community with the company mission to build and publish games that entertain and enlighten through fun and exciting gameplay experiences for the mobile games market focusing on iOS and Android devices. The studio’s first project is well into development in collaboration with Hazard Studios under the creative guidance of Relevant Games’ new Sr. Creative Director, Randy Greenback, and the art direction of Donovan Valdes.

Randy has played a major role in North Carolina’s game development community, having most recently acted as Creative Director for both Red Storm Entertainment/Ubisoft and Insomniac Games, contributing his leadership and design talents to titles from game series like Ghost Recon and Ratchet and Clank. Donovan has also proven himself a top industry talent with some of his past work being featured in hit game series such as Assassin’s Creed, Ghost Recon, and Prince of Persia.

Studio Director, Joshua Mills, and Head of Publishing, Mike Tata, round out the team as a very robust collection of not only creative development capabilities, but professional business savvy as well. Josh has worked for Epic Games, Funcom, Redstorm/Ubisoft and Insomniac Games, bringing extensive QA and filmography expertise, while Mike has a strong background in publishing titles for PC, mobile and console systems, finding his start at CDV Software. Together, these two bring the much-needed competitive edge of expert marketing capabilities, overall studio direction and organization highly sought after in such a fast-paced and competitive gaming market.

Relevant Games is fortunate to have top tier industry talent and the marketing and public relations expertise to successfully and appropriately bring our developers’ games to market and foster player growth post-launch. We’re actively looking for passionate developers with original concepts and products to closely team up with in the future.  We believe that the developer is the artist, and we want to help support and foster their creativity and vision by working closely together through development to make those efforts a success in the very competitive field of mobile gaming.

For any developers that would like to get in touch to discuss publishing options and their IP, Mike Tata (Head of Publishing) and the rest of the team can be reached at publish@relevantgames.com. We are open and willing to build relationships with members of the press or the gaming community in general, and can be reached any time at pr@relevantgames.com. We would be happy to respond to any media questions, concerns or general contact for future purposes, so don’t be shy! We look forward to hearing from you!

Ukie Week 43 2013 UK Video Games Charts

The third installment in Warner’s Batman: Arkham series debuts at No1 (as did the previous two), entitled ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’ (developed in-house by WB Games Montreal) and sells almost exactly the same in week 1 as the first in the series ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’ (Sep 2009, developed by Rocksteady, published by Eidos).  The defining title in terms of week 1 sales was the second in the series ‘Batman: Arkham City’ (Oct 2011 with close to double the week 1 sales of the third installment, also developed by Rocksteady, published by Warner).  The all-time best-selling Batman game in the UK is ‘Lego Batman: The Videogame’ from 2008 (published by Warner, developed by Traveller’s Tales).  Rockstar/Take 2’s ‘GTA V’ (-28%) drops to No2 followed at No3 by EA’s ‘FIFA 14’ (-21%) and at No4 by Activision’s ‘Skylanders Swap Force’ (-50%).  2 titles climb back in to the Top 10 this week thanks to a successful hardware promotion: Warner’s ‘Lego The Lord of the Rings’ climbs 11 places to No8 (+266%) and Mind Candy’s ‘Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed’ climbs 20 places to No9 (+350%).  Ubisoft debut at No15 with ‘Rocksmith 2014 Edition’, EA debut at No18 with ‘The Sims 3: Into the Future’ and Activision debut at No27 with ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’.

Watch Dogs Update “DELAYED” !!!!

The game must be in real bad shape then , to push it back right near the old release date.

Following is a statement directly from the Watch Dogs development teams.

Watch Dogs

Our ambition from the start with Watch Dogs has been to deliver something that embodies what we wanted to see in the next-generation of gaming. It is with this in mind that we’ve made the tough decision to delay the release until spring 2014.

We know a lot of you are probably wondering: Why now? We struggled with whether we would delay the game. But from the beginning, we have adopted the attitude that we will not compromise on quality. As we got closer to release, as all the pieces of the puzzle were falling into place in our last push before completion, it became clear to us that we needed to take the extra time to polish and fine tune each detail so we can deliver a truly memorable and exceptional experience.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you. We thoroughly enjoy and appreciate the way you respond on the web, at events, press conferences and other opportunities we have to interact. Your passion keeps us motivated.

We can’t wait to see you in Chicago next spring. We are confident you’ll love this game as much as we love working on it.
