Krakow, 8.14.2015: DRAGO Entertainment is proud to announce that the highly anticipated Unreal-powered Client Action MMORPG, Otherland will be available on Steam on August 26, 2015. Following more than six years of development, eager players are finally getting a chance to experience the game via Steam’s Early Access. Players will be treated to a completely revamped, visually stunning online game where they can explore the “Multiverse” of virtual worlds based on the popular Tad Williams novels. After two recent closed beta tests, Early Access is the final step in the journey to the official launch of the game in early 2016. Follow the game on Steam now at: http://store.steampowered.com/app/376310/
Otherland – A look At The Key Features – Part I
The “reboot” is almost complete: Nearly two years after the transition of the Otherland project from now defunct studio RealU, new developer DRAGO Entertainment is putting the finishing touches on the ambitious Action MMORPG. Almost feature- and content complete, now it is up to the community to test the game in in-depth, provide feedback and thus shape the final product that is to be released early next year.
Despite being in Early Access, Otherland is one of the most advanced titles on the service, a far cry from the Pre-Alpha Versions often put up for sale. Most of the unique features – starting with the eDNA System that allows users to “collect and clone” items and even NPCs up to the Housing and PVP systems – have been fully implemented already. Other features, such as the extensive Clan Land and Clan War Features are far along in development and will be added soon. Further content updates such as new worlds filled with quests, additional battlegrounds and minigames are planned for the upcoming months; all of these features will be taking community feedback into account. Revenues derived from Early Access will flow right back into development, allowing for additional time to balance, optimize and polish the game before the intended Release in early 2016. “After two closed beta tests we decided against the traditional Open Beta phase and instead opted to go Early Access on Steam because it allows us to better involve the community in the polishing process”, commented Lucjan Mikociak, CEO of DRAGO Entertainment. “We have come a long way since taking on the project nearly two years ago, and as a small independent developer we love to communicate with our community and appreciate their feedback and ideas, as we are determined to make sure that Otherland will not officially launch until it is ready.”
In the Unreal-powered Action MMORPG, based on the bestseller novels by Tadd Williams, players explore a series of virtual worlds, each with a completely unique look, but connected by an overarching storyline: The fantasy world “Eight Squared”, the cyber-punk inspired “Bad Sector”, the Asian “Five Isles” and the SciFi planet “Mars”. The “Lambda Mall” functions as the central hub for players to socialize, complete with bars, shops and personal player apartments. Thanks to its unique setting, Otherland features several innovations for MMOs, among them the eDNA of NPCs, Avatars and Items as well as the “USpace” (Player housing) and “ClanLand”-systems.
• Quest-driven MMORPG with 4 character classes in PvE and PvP
• Action-based combat with WASD-controls and Mouse-aiming
• Outstanding virtual reality scenario with 5 uniquely designed worlds and a strong story, based on Tad Williams’ bestselling novels
• eDNA: Players craft items and clone NPCs based on their virtual DNA
• USpace: Personal housing – customize, grow resources and defend against other players
• ClanLand: Clans develop their own worlds and protect them in clan wars
The Otherland MMORPG is being developed by DRAGO Entertainment in Krakow, Poland, on behalf of the Otherland Co-Production GmbH, produced by IME GmbH. Further information on the game can be found at http://www.drago-entertainment.com/Otherland . Community forum can be reached under http://forum.drago-entertainment.com.

I will bet you $10000000000000, ESO for the console will be a real MMO not a grind wheel like Destiny ! I liked it on PC ,but no one I knew played it. I bet this game will be what the doctor orders for a “REAL MMO” on the console. Looking forward to getting it !
As I’ve mentioned, we have been (and will continue to be) steadily working on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of ESO. They are playable and fun right now, but there’s still some work to do before we can set an official launch date. First and foremost, we want to make sure that two of our most important systems still in development—the Justice and Champion Systems—are included in the console release. Those two systems will introduce a huge amount of content to the game, and we know everyone is looking forward to the new types of gameplay they provide.
It’s also important to note that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of ESO are not just ports of the PC/Mac game. We have completely replaced the PC user interface with a console-specific UI designed from the ground-up with a controller and a living room play experience in mind. We’ve also added voice chat and full integration with XBL and PSN. Expect to see lots of news about our console versions in early 2015.
WRAPPING UP 2014
Thanks for everything that you in the ESO Community have done for us over the last year. We will continue to talk openly with you, react to feedback, fix problems, and move ESO forward together. Thank you so much for your input, your dedication, and for being involved.
Happy Holidays everyone, and we’ll see you in 2015!

Visionary Realms, Inc. is pleased to announce today that the Taurokian has been added to the lineup of playable races for Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen.
The minotaur-like race is a large one, considered to be frenzied fighters by the rest of the populace. They were once removed from Terminus, but they have now returned and are ready to fight for supremacy, even prepared to take on the mighty ogres.
From the Taurokian page:
“Their martial prowess originated from their culture that was steeped in brutal warfare and ritualistic dark arts. They learned to master the secrets of steel and iron, forging some of the finest armor and weapons ever wielded on Terminus. The taurokian warriors are known for their strength, speed and frenzied charging ability that they would often use to gore large formations of troops.”
The Taurokian is the sixth confirmed race for Pantheon’s launch, estimated to be arriving in 2017.
Crowdsourcing turns to crowdfunding. And now crowdfunding becomes crowd-developing. Visionary Realms is taking a new look at how games are designed and developed from the ground up by deeply involving the community.
Funding for Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, a classic take on epic MMO adventure, is taking place on VR’s website at PantheonRotF.com but the team is taking things a big step further by involving the community in the very design and development of the game.
Through the website, the community is able to:
- Build a wiki for the game
- Participate in design discussions with the developers through the forums and chat channel
- Present and vote on ideas through a Think Tank
- Create their own guilds and recruit members
- Write their own blogs
- Participate in weekly roundtable discussions with the developers
And a whole lot more! Visionary Realms is taking ideas directly from the feedback and suggestions the community has been offering and working those ideas and concepts directly into the game.
If you’d like to talk more with the company’s CIO, Tom Sampson or Director of Development, Salim Grant, to find out more on crowd developing, let me know!

Play TERA for 7 days absolutely free—experience true action combat
SEATTLE – 13 June 2012 – En Masse Entertainment™, a player-driven publisher focused on delivering fun and innovative online games, celebrates the launch success of its award-winning action MMO, TERA™, by offering a free seven-day trial to new players. TERA sets a new standard for MMOs by delivering true action combat for players who want a more exciting, skill-based alternative to conventional online RPGs. Newly revealed game data shows that players are averaging more than four hours of play on a daily basis. Their enthusiasm makes this the perfect time to expand the game’s audience with a downloadable trial for new players to sample the game with no financial commitment.
“We are thrilled that the unique experience of TERA’s true action MMO gameplay is resonating so strongly with our players,” said Chris Lee, vice president of publishing at En Masse Entertainment. “Now we want to open up to new players curious about the game with a free one-week TERA trial, as we’re confident if you play, you will stay.”
Some facts and figures from the first weeks of play since TERA’s launch:
- Players have killed nearly 22 million (21,986,108 to be exact) of the game’s signature BAMs (big-ass monsters).
- TERA players have traveled a total distance of more than 227,328,053 miles in the game. That’s far enough to walk to Mars.
- Players stick around to savor their action experience, averaging nearly 4.5 hours daily per player. That’s more time than the average American spends watching TV each day.
The recipient of multiple industry honors and accolades, including “Best PC Game” and “Best MMO,” TERA is a new breed of online game. For the first time, players can get the best of both worlds: the depth of a traditional MMO combined with the visceral gratification of an action game. In TERA, players actively aim, dodge, and block, as the game’s real-time combat system takes into account player skill and position as well as stats. After creating a character, players will join in an alliance to save the world from ravaging armies who threaten to destroy the very gods who hold the world together. TERA also introduces a revolutionary political system in which players wield power in their province based on their in-game political prowess or player-versus-player combat skill.
The TERA trial is good for seven calendar days from the time a player enters the trial code. Players can level up to eight characters to level 23 on one server during the trial. There are some additional restrictions—trial players cannot vote in TERA elections, for instance—but for the most part, players can enjoy the full benefits of the game during their week of free play. All players need to join the world of TERA is an En Masse account. Then they can enter the code “TERATRIAL” to download and play TERA.
To get ready to play in the free trial, gamers should visit https://tera-support.enmasse.com/ for valuable information including tutorials, system requirements, and how to customize the game for their play style. For more information on TERA, please visit TERA-online.com, and for more information on the free trial, visit http://tera.enmasse.com/try-tera
