London, UK – 9th July, 2015 – Treyarch, the creators of Call of Duty® Zombies is back with, Shadows of Evil, the all-new undead survival co-op mode launching on 6th November with Call of Duty®: Black Ops III. Shadows of Evil will make its world-wide debut today at San Diego Comic-Con, which delivers an incredibly rich and deep narrative and action-packed co-op survival experience that is signature to Treyarch’s strain of Zombies. Players are introduced to an all-star cast of characters, including Jeff Goldblum, Heather Graham, Neal McDonough, Ron Perlman and Robert Picardo.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III: Zombies – Shadows of Evil drops players into a recognisable yet terrifyingly unfamiliar world, as they uncover the secrets and challenges laid out for them by a shadowy figure, who holds their fate in his hands. Set in a 1940’s film-noir era, Shadows of Evil introduces four unwitting characters – The Magician, The Femme-Fatale, The Cop and The Boxer – into an unravelling experience masterminded by the mysterious Shadow Man. Featuring voices and likenesses, the characters are played by Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park, Independence Day), Heather Graham (The Hangover 1-3, Californication), Neil McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger, Band of Brothers), Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy, Hellboy) and Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager, Stargate SG-1).

Marking today’s world premiere, Call of Duty: Black Ops III: Zombies – Shadows of Evil is taking over San Diego Comic-Con with an action-packed lineup of activities and events for fans. Kicking off the show, Zombies will be front and centre at a panel hosted by YouTube superstar and Call of Duty Zombies fanatic, Syndicate (Tom Cassell). The panel features celebrity stars of the Call of Duty Zombies Treyarch series past and present, exclusive giveaways, behind-the-scenes information and the world exclusive first look of Shadows of Evil gameplay. Throughout Comic-Con, fans can also step into the world of Shadows of Evil via an epic immersive experiential activity (located at 450 Second Ave. from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Thursday, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday and Saturday) that places them in the middle of an unrelenting Zombie onslaught, giving them a firsthand look at the survivors’ intertwined stories for the ultimate Call of Duty Zombies brought to life.

And open to the public for the first time, players can get their hands on Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer on PlayStation 4 inside the PlayStation “Road to Greatness” Tour Bus parked right outside the Zombies experience.

Making its debut at San Diego Comic-Con, the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Juggernog Collector’s Edition is the unparallelled offering for the die-hard Call of Duty Zombies fan. The limited Juggernog Collector’s Edition comes packed with a fully-functioning mini-refrigerator modelled after the iconic Juggernog Perk-a-Cola dispenser from Call of Duty Zombies, the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Season Pass and The Giant, a remake of Der Rise, one of the all-time fan favourite Treyarch Zombies maps. The Call of Duty: Black Ops III Hardened Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition, also include The Giant Zombies map.

Additionally revealed today at San Diego Comic Con, Activision Blizzard launched an exciting campaign with charity fundraising platform Omaze, which gives Call of Duty fans a chance to become a zombie in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. This effort will raise money for the Call of Duty™ Endowment, a non-profit organisation founded by Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick, which funds best-in-class nonprofits helping veterans find good jobs after their service. Activision Blizzard is also matching each donation dollar for dollar up to $1,000,000. Starting today and running through 31st August, 2015, fans can enter by donating $10 or more to the Call of Duty Endowment via Omaze for a chance to be zombified at Treyarch and appear in Call of Duty: Black Ops III DLC. The winner will also have their name immortalised in a Zombies mode level, have lunch with Treyarch Studio Head Mark Lamia and receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the studio behind the game. San Diego Comic-Con also marks the reveal of monumental new Call of Duty: Black Ops III brand partnerships as part of the all-out Black Ops III invasion. Dark Horse Comics and Treyarch have teamed up to create an all-new comic book series, written by Larry Hama and pencilled by Marcelo Ferreira, chronicling the exploits of an elite group of soldiers. Additionally, Mega Bloks has created an all-new gold San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Zombies figurine. Fans, 18 years old and up, can pick up a limited edition mini-issue of the Dark Horse Comics Call of Duty: Black Ops III prequel and the exclusive Mega Bloks Zombies figurine at the show by attending the Black Ops III: Zombies panel to secure a voucher.

Below is Treyarch’s posted security & enforcement policy for Black Ops II. All infractions undergo a thorough review process by the Treyarch security team before enforcement, and penalty is not subject to further review.

Definitions

Temporary bans can range from 48 hours to 2 weeks, depending on the severity of the infraction. Permanent bans are lasting and final.

A minor offense is one in which no quantifiable damage has been done to another user or the game community at large. An extreme offense is one in which a player has caused detriment to other users or has organized large groups of users to commit additional offenses.

Modding/Hacking

Any user who runs a modified version of game code or uses a modified game profile is subject to penalty.

  • First offense: User will be permanently banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.
  • Console users who modify their hardware or profile data will also be reported to console manufacturers. PC users on Steam will be reported to the Steam enforcement team.
Pirated Content

Any user who illegally acquires Call of Duty: Black Ops II content is subject to penalty.

  • First offense: User will be permanently banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.
  • Console users in possession of illegally acquired content will also be reported to console manufacturers. PC users on Steam will be reported to the Steam enforcement team.
Unsupported Peripheral Devices & Applications

Any user who utilizes an unsupported external hardware device or application to interact with the game is subject to penalty. Unsupported peripheral devices and applications include but are not limited to modded controllers, IP flooders and lag switches.

  • Minor offense: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset and will have their leaderboard entries deleted.
  • Extreme or repeat offenses: User will be permanently banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.
Boosting

Any user who colludes with another user to exploit the game for the purpose of gaining XP, prestige, game score, weapon level, or in-game unlock is subject to penalty.

  • First offense: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset, and will have their leaderboard entries deleted.
  • Second offense: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset, will have online split-screen privileges revoked, and will have their leaderboard entries deleted.
  • Extreme or multiple repeat offenses: User will be permanently banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.
Glitching

Any user who abuses an exploit in game code or other established rule of play is subject to penalty. An example includes but is not limited to using a hole in the map geo to intentionally go outside of the map boundary.

  • First offense: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset, and will have their leaderboard entries deleted.
  • Second offense: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset, will have online split-screen privileges revoked, and will have their leaderboard entries deleted.
  • Extreme or multiple repeat offenses: User will be permanently banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.
Offensive Behavior

Any user who is found to use aggressive, offensive, derogatory or racially charged language is subject to penalty.

  • First offense: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online.
  • Second offense: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online and will have voice chat privileges in the game revoked.
  • Extreme or repeat offenses: User will be permanently banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.
Offensive Emblems

Any user who creates an emblem with sexually gratuitous images, racially offensive material or foul language is subject to penalty.

  • Minor offense: User will be temporarily banned from using the Emblem Editor, and all emblems will be reset to default.
  • Extreme or repeat offenses: User will be permanently banned from using the Emblem Editor, and all emblems will be reset to default.

Offensive Live Streams or Unauthorized Live Stream Content

Any user who is found to have offensive or unauthorized content in their live stream is subject to penalty. Offensive content includes but is not limited to foul language, racially charged language, and nudity. Unauthorized content includes but is not limited to unlicensed music, TV shows, movies and brand logos.

  • Minor offense: User will be temporarily banned from using live streaming and may have camera streaming privileges in the game revoked.
  • Extreme or repeat offenses: User will be permanently banned from using live streaming.
  • Extreme offenders will also be reported to the live streaming service provider and may have their account revoked by that service provider.
