I am going to see this!!!!
Krakow, 8.14.2015: DRAGO Entertainment is proud to announce that the highly anticipated Unreal-powered Client Action MMORPG, Otherland will be available on Steam on August 26, 2015. Following more than six years of development, eager players are finally getting a chance to experience the game via Steam’s Early Access. Players will be treated to a completely revamped, visually stunning online game where they can explore the “Multiverse” of virtual worlds based on the popular Tad Williams novels. After two recent closed beta tests, Early Access is the final step in the journey to the official launch of the game in early 2016. Follow the game on Steam now at: http://store.steampowered.com/app/376310/
Otherland – A look At The Key Features – Part I
The “reboot” is almost complete: Nearly two years after the transition of the Otherland project from now defunct studio RealU, new developer DRAGO Entertainment is putting the finishing touches on the ambitious Action MMORPG. Almost feature- and content complete, now it is up to the community to test the game in in-depth, provide feedback and thus shape the final product that is to be released early next year.
Despite being in Early Access, Otherland is one of the most advanced titles on the service, a far cry from the Pre-Alpha Versions often put up for sale. Most of the unique features – starting with the eDNA System that allows users to “collect and clone” items and even NPCs up to the Housing and PVP systems – have been fully implemented already. Other features, such as the extensive Clan Land and Clan War Features are far along in development and will be added soon. Further content updates such as new worlds filled with quests, additional battlegrounds and minigames are planned for the upcoming months; all of these features will be taking community feedback into account. Revenues derived from Early Access will flow right back into development, allowing for additional time to balance, optimize and polish the game before the intended Release in early 2016. “After two closed beta tests we decided against the traditional Open Beta phase and instead opted to go Early Access on Steam because it allows us to better involve the community in the polishing process”, commented Lucjan Mikociak, CEO of DRAGO Entertainment. “We have come a long way since taking on the project nearly two years ago, and as a small independent developer we love to communicate with our community and appreciate their feedback and ideas, as we are determined to make sure that Otherland will not officially launch until it is ready.”
In the Unreal-powered Action MMORPG, based on the bestseller novels by Tadd Williams, players explore a series of virtual worlds, each with a completely unique look, but connected by an overarching storyline: The fantasy world “Eight Squared”, the cyber-punk inspired “Bad Sector”, the Asian “Five Isles” and the SciFi planet “Mars”. The “Lambda Mall” functions as the central hub for players to socialize, complete with bars, shops and personal player apartments. Thanks to its unique setting, Otherland features several innovations for MMOs, among them the eDNA of NPCs, Avatars and Items as well as the “USpace” (Player housing) and “ClanLand”-systems.
• Quest-driven MMORPG with 4 character classes in PvE and PvP
• Action-based combat with WASD-controls and Mouse-aiming
• Outstanding virtual reality scenario with 5 uniquely designed worlds and a strong story, based on Tad Williams’ bestselling novels
• eDNA: Players craft items and clone NPCs based on their virtual DNA
• USpace: Personal housing – customize, grow resources and defend against other players
• ClanLand: Clans develop their own worlds and protect them in clan wars
The Otherland MMORPG is being developed by DRAGO Entertainment in Krakow, Poland, on behalf of the Otherland Co-Production GmbH, produced by IME GmbH. Highly anticipated MMO breaks into Kickstarter Top 20; Company announces hiring of former Eve Online executive, Valerie Massey
AUSTIN, Texas, March 18, 2015 — Independent game developer ArtCraft Entertainment, Inc. announced today that Crowfall™, the highly-anticipated “Throne War Simulator” MMO, is now one of the 20 highest-funded video game projects ever on kickstarter.com. Additionally, the campaign is the most funded video game of the past 12 months, amassing more than $1.2 million from more than 12,500 backers with a week left in the campaign.
Co-founder and Creative Director J. Todd Coleman explains, “Kickstarter remains the unchallenged leader when it comes to crowdfunding for games. Crowfall’s success confirms that the right team, with the right vision, can still incite passion and gain significant momentum.”
On to the strength of this campaign, the company also announced today the hiring of well-known community developer Valerie “Pann” Massey, who formerly served as the senior director of public relations and communication at CCP Games (creators of the venerable EVE Online).
“Our vision is to create a game that feels like a blend between EVE Online and Game of Thrones. Valerie’s experience with EVE Online makes her the perfect person to help us build this community,” said ArtCraft’s Co-founder and President Gordon Walton. “Her experience and our game are a perfect fit.”
Massey will take the role of director of community management, acting as a customer advocate and key liaison to the burgeoning Crowfall community. “When it came to MMOs, I felt like the magician’s assistant who has seen the lady get sawed in half too many times,” explained Massey. “The magic was gone. But when I heard about the concept for Crowfall, I saw something unique on the horizon at last. I had to be a part of it.”
A new type of online experience, Crowfall is a “Massively Multiplayer Online Throne War Simulator.” Players take the role of kings, queens, mercenaries and assassins in a simulation of a feudal world that includes castle building, siege equipment and territorial conquest system.
Founded by two of the most experienced executives in the history of online gaming, ArtCraft Entertainment is the combined effort of J. Todd Coleman (director, Shadowbane, Wizard101, Pirate101) and Gordon Walton (executive producer, Ultima Online, Star Wars Galaxies, Star Wars: the Old Republic). The stated goal of ArtCraft Entertainment is to “push the design of Massively Multiplayer Online games in bold new directions.”

THE JUSTICE SYSTEM GUIDE: http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2015/01/26/update-6-guide-the-justice-system
Every dungeon-delver will want to check out this detailed guide to pledges.
Update 5 has brought lots of new adventure, including Undaunted Pledges, which offer unique rewards for clearing out Tamriel’s most dangerous locales. The Undaunted, in their continuing crusade to battle deadly foes, are handing out these special quests to qualified adventurers from their new enclaves. Read on to learn all about pledges, how they work, and what you can earn by completing them:
Only adventurers who’ve seen enough battle can take on pledges—you’ll need to be level 45 or higher to obtain them. When you reach 45, the Undaunted will contact you via in-game mail and invite you to their new enclaves, which are located near capital cities. Once you arrive, you’ll be able to start picking up pledges and sharing in the spoils of conquest. Just sign your name in the pledge book to swear your dedication to taking on some of Tamriel’s deadliest enemies without flinching! You’ll get your first reward (a bronze key—more on those later) just for showing up at the Undaunted enclave.
There are two types of pledges: Non-Veteran and Veteran. Non-Veteran Pledges are available right away at level 45, and Veteran Pledges open up at Veteran Rank 1. You can have both a Veteran and Non-Veteran Pledge in your quest log at the same time, but you can only complete each kind of pledge once a day—even the mightiest heroes need to rest sometimes!
Pledges require you to complete a particular dungeon, and always have optional objectives your party can try to complete for better rewards. When you’ve completed the pledge, you’ll return to the enclave for your reward: a bronze, silver, or gold (depending on performance and the type of pledge) key that unlocks special chests at the enclave, along with reputation with the Undaunted. To get a gold key, you’ll have to complete difficult optional objectives in a Veteran Pledge, so make sure to bring allies who are up to the challenge!
The Undaunted chests can contain a variety of helpful loot, from valuable Ornate items and soul gems to unique items sets and attention-grabbing shoulder pieces fashioned from the very brutes you’ve slain (you can get the helms that go with them from the bosses themselves)! You’ll be sure to get some great stuff for completing these dangerous tasks.
You’re ready! Go forth, crush all the dungeons, and admire all your new loot.
I will bet you $10000000000000, ESO for the console will be a real MMO not a grind wheel like Destiny ! I liked it on PC ,but no one I knew played it. I bet this game will be what the doctor orders for a “REAL MMO” on the console. Looking forward to getting it !
As I’ve mentioned, we have been (and will continue to be) steadily working on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of ESO. They are playable and fun right now, but there’s still some work to do before we can set an official launch date. First and foremost, we want to make sure that two of our most important systems still in development—the Justice and Champion Systems—are included in the console release. Those two systems will introduce a huge amount of content to the game, and we know everyone is looking forward to the new types of gameplay they provide.
It’s also important to note that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of ESO are not just ports of the PC/Mac game. We have completely replaced the PC user interface with a console-specific UI designed from the ground-up with a controller and a living room play experience in mind. We’ve also added voice chat and full integration with XBL and PSN. Expect to see lots of news about our console versions in early 2015.
WRAPPING UP 2014
Thanks for everything that you in the ESO Community have done for us over the last year. We will continue to talk openly with you, react to feedback, fix problems, and move ESO forward together. Thank you so much for your input, your dedication, and for being involved.
Happy Holidays everyone, and we’ll see you in 2015!
Delve into the mystery of Ramuh and learn why he must be faced in combat.
