SEGA BRINGS NINE PLAYABLE GAMES TO PAX PRIME

SAN FRANCISCO (August 9, 2012) – SEGA® of America, Inc. today announced a line-up of nine playable games, including one unannounced game, for this year’s Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle. Alongside the company’s upcoming blockbuster franchise titles Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed™ and Aliens: Colonial Marines™, SEGA is also showing off several digital titles, including Double Fine’s The Cave™ and Hell Yeah!™ Wrath of the Dead Rabbit by indie developer Arkedo Studios. Phantasy Star Online 2, the popular multiplayer online role playing game which launched to more than 730,000 players in less than one month in Japan, will be making its Western debut at the show, and fans of the iconic blue hedgehog will also get to play the recently-announced HD version of Sonic Adventure™ 2.

Aliens: Colonial Marines officially confirmed by Sega
Sega, publisher of Aliens: Colonial Marines, has announced that the game will see a Collector’s Edition.
At $99.99 a pop, here’s what you’ll find in the box:
- Resin Powerloader statue.
- Four multiplayer characters based on the movies — Hicks, Drake, Apone and Hudson.
- Ripley’s Flamethrower.
- Extra character customization options.
- Exclusive weapons — Phase Plasma Rifle and Sonic Electronic Ball Breakers.

Fight the Fear in 2013’s First Blockbuster Shooter
