For those waiting on BioWare’s upcoming MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic, I’m positive the idea has entered your mind to relive the journey of Knights of the Old Republic. A personal favorite and critically acclaimed world-wide, this nostalgic title hasn’t aged well. I’m here to remedy that with several mods that should freshen up the epic journey known as KOTOR.
Widescreen Modification by Widescreengaming: The original game lacks widescreen support that brings those lovely Twi’lek females up to date. Using this file, you will be able to boost the resolution to modern wide-screen monitors. Make sure your game is patched and Steam versions follow this guide.
Power Overwhelming Mod by Niuhaka: Now that the game is looking good, it’s time to make your character into the gorgeous badass he should be. This amazing modification will replaces the third male Asian head with over 20 options to customize with.
K1 Robes Mod by Captain Skye: A Jedi/Sith is only as good as the robes they wear and this modification will make you look damn good. K1 Robes redesigns all the robes for male and female characters to be more detailed and vary more in design while still keeping their vanilla statistics.
Weapons of the Old Republic by T7nowhere: The weapon models are still drenched in the filth of 2003 texture work but fear not, Weapons of the Old Republic gives all the weapons a huge visual boost. All party members now have new models with the exception of T3-M4.
Brotherhood of Shadows by Silveredge9: With all the visual upgrades out of the way, it’s time to extend the adventure. This mod is a masterpiece, adding an epic storyline containing new quests, areas, party members, fully voice characters and more. Expect to sink many hours into this.
